Relics and runes fill different roles in Rune Dice

Rune Dice builds combinations from three kinds of support. Dice provide the physics-based attacks and merge mechanics. Relics add permanent enhancements. Runes are consumable and manipulate the battlefield. They belong to the same synergy, but they do not last for the same amount of time.

- Dice
- Collected through combat victories and shop purchases. Different dice carry their own powers and abilities.
- Relics
- Permanent enhancements that continue supporting the build after they are found.
- Runes
- Consumable tactical abilities used for battlefield manipulation.
Read a choice by duration
A relic changes the continuing build. A rune answers a shorter tactical moment. The distinction helps when two options appear to offer similar power but commit resources on different timescales.
The synergy still begins with the dice
The official description places dice attacks, relic bonuses, and rune abilities in one combination. A shop purchase can add another die, while a relic or rune changes how the collection is supported. Reading those jobs separately makes the three systems easier to compare without claiming one universal build.
