FEED THE QUEEN Fishery Supply Stopped Guide
Last updated: June 2, 2026Food-chain troubleshootingRoute diagnosis
If your FEED THE QUEEN fishery or food supply stops, do not assume the fishery itself is broken. Trace the chain in order: input source, fishery or transformation step, worker handoff, delivery path, and final feeding. The fix depends on where the first pile-up or empty step appears.
What this guide helps with
The worst fix is buying more of the thing that already has nowhere to go. A fishery-style stall can be an input problem, a transformation problem, a delivery problem, or a worker-balance problem. They all look similar if you only watch the final feeding number.
Use this page as a short diagnostic route. It gives you the order to check before spending rare resources or rebuilding the route.

Fishery or food step has no input.Source is behind or routed elsewhere. Is the input being created and reaching the step?Fix source flow before buying fishery-side upgrades.
Input exists, but output does not move.Transformation or worker handoff is behind. Is one middle step always waiting?Support the middle of the chain before adding more source.
Output exists, but the Queen still waits.Delivery or final feeding is the bottleneck.Where does useful food sit after creation?Fix delivery and final handoff before adding production.
Everyone looks busy but progress is flat.Worker balance is improving activity, not the bottleneck.Which role is always behind?Move priority toward the first slow role in the chain.
Rare upgrades feel wasted.Brain Matter or DNA did not target the blocked step. What problem did the spend actually solve?Save rare progression for the named wall.
Fix Order
- Start with the empty step. If the fishery has no input, the problem is upstream.
- Check the first pile-up. A pile-up before the fishery means transformation cannot keep up; a pile-up after it means delivery is behind.
- Watch worker imbalance. Busy workers are not enough. The right worker role has to support the first slow step.
- Do one correction, then re-check. Do not buy five upgrades before seeing whether the chain moved.
- Only spend rare progression after the bottleneck is named. Brain Matter and DNA should remove a visible wall, not decorate an already-jammed route.
Production Problem Or Delivery Problem?
A fishery supply issue becomes easier once you separate production from delivery. Production means the colony is failing to create useful food. Delivery means useful food exists but does not reach the Queen at the right pace. Buying production into a delivery jam is one of the easiest ways to make the run look stronger while the Queen still waits.
QuestionProduction-side answerDelivery-side answer
Where is the first problem? Before or inside the fishery / transformation step. After useful food exists.
What should you upgrade?Input flow, transformation, or the worker role feeding that step.Worker handoff, movement, final delivery, or feeding pace.
What is the bad spend?Late delivery upgrades when no useful food exists.More source production when useful food is already waiting.
What should you observe?Whether the step creates output at all.Whether output reaches the Queen consistently.
What To Delay
Do not rush every tempting button just because the run is slow. A stopped food chain needs diagnosis more than power. Delay these choices until the chain tells you what is actually wrong.

More source productionTransformation and delivery are not already backed up.Extra input makes a jam worse.Trace the first pile-up.
Rare Brain Matter spendThe upgrade directly fixes the named bottleneck.Rare resources feel bad when spent into the wrong link.Use the Brain Matter / DNA guide.
Broad DNA branchingYou know which food chain needs support.Scattered bonuses do not rescue a specific blocked route.Support the active chain first.
Evolution pushThe current food route feeds consistently.Evolution can expose a weaker version of the same problem.Stabilize source-to-Queen flow.
Failure Checks

Fishery never gets supplied.Input source or route is broken upstream.Fix the input path before upgrading the fishery-side step.Watch whether input reaches the fishery at all.
Fishery output exists but feeding is slow.Delivery or final handoff is behind.Shift attention to movement and feeding pace.Watch where finished food sits too long.
Workers look busy but nothing improves. The wrong role is being helped.Name the slow role and support that point only.Fixed worker rankings.
A patch changes the early route.Old upgrade order may no longer match the first bottleneck.Re-check the chain after every route-impact patch.Fastest-route timing.
How to use this guide
Use this page when the Queen is waiting but you cannot tell which part of the food chain is guilty. Start at the first missing input, then move one step at a time until you find the first pile-up.
