Route impact

Where the Change Reaches the Run

Do not rebuild every route at once. Find the changed layer first, then adjust the next run around that single pressure point.

If the update changes...First route questionWhy it mattersRelated guide
Mining depth or resource accessWhether the old route still becomes useful power before night.A deeper or slower mine path changes when you should stop digging and spend.Mining Route
Wave pressure or enemy timingWhether the first failed contact point moved.Wave changes can make a stable route fail even when the economy looks fine.Wave Survival
Building roles or surface effectsWhether each structure still has a clear wave job.A building that used to solve first contact, cleanup, or scaling may now need support.Buildings and Heroes
Hero jobs, powers, perks, or relicsWhether support tools still cover the actual weak layer.Support value changes can turn a good-looking plan into a disconnected board.Buildings and Heroes
Upgrade cost, unlock order, or timingWhether the same first spend still fixes the next night.Upgrade timing changes can move priority from economy to survival, or from defense to scaling.Upgrade Priority

Patch triage

Trace the Change from Mine to Night

When a working run starts failing, keep the stable layers still and follow the change to the first resource, spending, surface, or wave decision that moved.

  1. Name the layer touched by the change: mining, spending, buildings, heroes, upgrades, pivots, or night waves.
  2. Repeat one familiar day/night loop and watch where resources stop becoming safety.
  3. Change the route, spending choice, defense plan, or upgrade priority responsible for that break.
  4. Keep the other layers intact so the next night has one readable difference.
  5. When numbers move, judge whether they change the route pressure players actually feel before changing the whole plan.

Repair order

Early Access Repair Order

When Hold The Mine changes, repair the smallest decision that explains the new loss before replacing the whole route.
