Moonsigil Atlas rewards careful use of board space. Read card shapes before their effects, keep one future placement window open, and build the support for a combo before committing its payoff card.
What v1.0.26 Changes About a Third-Act Loss
The official June 4 v1.0.26 notes say the Stargorger Titan became less punishing for decks that play many Gravel, Seeks, or Star Fragments. Generated-card routes therefore have more room in the third act, but they still need a clean lane and a way to recover when the Titan changes the board.
The hand and board together show why a combo also needs a legal place to land.Steam

Did generated cards cause the board to lock? You can still create a clean lane before the Titan changes the board. The route fills every usable shape window before boss pressure matters. That every generated-card deck now wins the fight.
Did the combo have an exit? You can cash out and recover when the board state changes. The line only works while every placement remains untouched. That peak damage is the same as boss readiness.
Does the route reach the Titan with room to work? The board keeps at least one usable shape window for recovery.Generated cards fill the board before the boss applies pressure.A strong early act hiding a fragile boss setup.

Read the Board Before the Card
Moonsigil Atlas combines no-energy card play with physical card shapes, card manipulation, tactical turns, and combo-building. A card can have an excellent effect and still be the wrong play when its shape closes the only useful space for the next hand.
Protect the landing window before chasing the payoff. A combo without room to resolve is still a setup problem, while a modest card that preserves two future placements can keep the entire route alive.

What To Revisit After Balance Changes
If future updates move card values, resist the urge to rewrite every route at once. First ask what changed in the run you can actually see. A number shift matters most when it changes visible board pressure: whether a shape fits, whether a setup turn survives, whether a payoff is still worth protecting, or whether recovery needs to happen earlier.
Check space pressure first. If old placements now leave the board cramped, revisit shape discipline before judging card power.
Check payoff timing second. A card can still be good while the route needs a faster cash-out line.
Check recovery third. If setup turns are punished more often, the route may need safer stabilizers before combos.
Compare one layer at a time. Change only the decision that failed so the cause remains clear.
Judge cards in context. A card's value depends on the shapes, support, and recovery space around it.
Patch-Safe Route Checklist
Before changing a route...Ask thisWhy
A card feels weaker.Did the board support it, or did earlier shapes trap it?Bad placement can disguise a good payoff as a weak card.
A combo feels unreliable.Did support, trigger order, and landing space exist before payoff?Combo failure often starts before the combo turn.
A route feels slow.Did you take smaller value when the board became fragile?Perfect payoff is worse than timely recovery if pressure is rising.
A balance change arrives.Which layer moved: space, setup, cash-out, focus, or recovery?Changing the affected layer first keeps the route coherent.
