Farm or rescue more eggs when the current Voidling cannot solve a named mission problem. Hatch one promising creature and run a mission, then decide: keep the old route, switch to the new hatch, breed for a cleaner nature or attribute fit, or move into genes and evolution. Do not farm eggs just because the menu is available; egg time is useful only when it gives the next mission a clearer role.
A New Hatch Is Not Automatically Progress
Voidling Bound makes eggs feel like progress because every hatch can become a new route. That is also the trap. A new creature can fix a bad run, but it can also distract you from a stable Voidling that only needed one gene edit, one evolution choice, or one cleaner mission run.
When you are stuck between farming eggs, hatching everything, breeding again, or pushing deeper, name the missing combat job first. That stops a working plan from being replaced by another half-built plan.
Eggs, natures, breeding, genes, and evolution all matter. The route gets stronger when they answer the same failure, not when each menu starts a different plan.

Hatch, Assign, Run, Then Change
After a promising egg, do not immediately breed, evolve, and gene-edit at the same time. That makes the result impossible to read. Run a smaller loop: hatch, assign one job, complete one mission, then change one system.
Name the failure. Survival, damage, movement, ability rhythm, boss uptime, or route confusion.
Pick one hatch. Do not compare every new creature at once.
Give it one job. Melee bruiser, burst shooter, attrition/counter, fire pressure, mobile skirmisher, or setup control.
Run one mission. Watch what breaks before spending more resources.
Change one layer. Breed, gene edit, evolve, or keep. Do not do all four together.
When Not to Breed Yet
Breed when the current creature is close to the right job and needs a cleaner roll. If the creature has the wrong job, breeding only makes a slightly cleaner version of the wrong answer.
If the mission fails before you reach the boss, fix survival, movement, or route control before breeding for boss damage.
If the boss window is safe but slow, try evolution or gene support before replacing the creature.
If the new hatch uses a combat rhythm you cannot sustain, keep the current creature.

Egg Route to Boss Role
Melee, burst, poison or counter pressure, fire pressure, and mobility each answer a different boss problem. Choose the hatch direction after naming that problem.

When a New Hatch Is Actually Better
A new Voidling is better when it makes the next mission easier to explain. That sounds simple because it is. If the old creature wins by surviving, do not replace it with a new creature that only looks more interesting. If the old creature loses because it has no finish, do not keep stacking survival until the fight becomes endless.
The strongest hatch is usually the one that gives you a cleaner sentence: this creature survives contact, this creature wins damage windows, this creature controls space, this creature buys time for status, or this creature turns genes into one clear route. If the sentence gets longer after the hatch, the route probably got worse.
